DarkTraveler, from the OP it looks like Ifurita is looking to transport vehicles / monstrous infantry. Is there a good way of doing this with TableWar?

Oops! I missed that part. Monstrous Creatures shouldn't be a problem. I have my Chaos Forgefiend and Daemon Prince magnetized and they fit easily on the trays. Vehicles are harder. Since the Tau vehicles use flying bases you can carefully drill out an area on the flight base for a magnet but it takes a lot of work. My buddy has a Dark Eldar hellion heavy list and he has magnetized all of the Hellions' flight bases for storage in his Table War case so I know it can be done if you are willing to put the time and effort into the task. But, the Tau vehicles are heavier than individual helion infantry models, so I can't entirely vouch for magnetizing the vehicle flight bases.

Table War suggests putting a pin on the bottom of ground vehicles and then pinning the vehicle to a flat tray. I don't like the idea of drilling into my vehicles for transportation purposes, so I never attempted to keep my vehicles in a Table War case.

Really, with the trays currently available from Table War, I can't recommend the cases for vehicle transport. :(

Well I have neither case, but I can say you're just going about it the wrong way entirely. With those skimmers, the base size doesn't really matter - measurements are taken to the hull, not the tiny, hardly visible disc underneath if I'm not mistaken (sorry, might not have played as much as I used to since 6th came around ) and even if that's not the case, PP style bases in 50mm exist so you can always find one of the more 'regular' kind of black bases to put a flight stand on. Once you've done that, you can basically just smack a tonne of epoxy glue into the underneath of the base and fill the whole damn thing up with magnets. maybe some milliput over them to fill it up and make it look nice and tidy, if you're a neat freak in that regard - five minutes to a base, tops. get some of the aluminum flight stand pins from ebay (really, beats the hell out of those fragile transparent plastic fethers!) and glue the whole thing together, and you're golden

...Hope that helps
