So I've been doing some more reworking to my Necrons and just wondering what people think of my list.

Idea is Overlord joins the Immortals for the CC road bump and the 2+ save. The 2 crypteks go into the arks to shoot out of them. I opted to put tesla on the Immortals just for the diversity since the Warriors and Arks have gauss but not sure that's the right choice though.

I like tesla immortals because they are better outside 12". As they'll be walking, I'd definitely keep the tesla.

List looks solid.

I agree with MarkCron, keep the unit tesla since tesla is better at range.

Pretty good list at the points. Keep the scarabs out of los as much as you can and you have to fast moving threats people have to worry about.

Solid list. Could probably drop scarabs to get more toys in your list, like dropping 2 bases of them to get a RO on your overlord to massively up immortal survivability, or maybe even 3 bases to go all out and get a shifter on top of that, and make your lord a dueling nightmare who can take on the likes of abbadon and laugh. Pretty solid though, what you got is good.

Alright thanks for all the help, I'm just curious if there are any bad matchups for this list as I'll be bringing it to a series of games where it can't be changed from game to game. I really haven't been able to play many games against the newer armies such as Demons, DA, or Tau so I really don't have a good grasp on the meta game at this point.

A list of some good matchups as well as bad ones or things I need to look out for would be really helpful.

I would try to get that RO on the Overlord. Those immortals are a good unit but at 17 points a model saving two of them with the 4+ roll will cover its cost in pretty much every game.


As for what you will face, I can only base this off of the teams I have to face a lot.

I can say facing CSM will be intersting. Likely have a daemon prince trying to take out your AB then unleash a couple of heldrakes on you.

Daemons as a whole can give you issues. It could come in the form of their cavalry being in your face by turn two, or iron arm daemon princes, even some super shooty pink horrors.
