Can anyone come up with a good reason not to have a farseer on a jetbike attached to a farsight bomb?

Well it would be a decent match up, although some things a Farseer would provide a support bodyguard could as well like rerolls, but who wouldn't like to have a farseer attached to their deathstar.

Well, the Farseer can't Deep Strike... thereby kind of missing the point of having a Farsight "bomb" (no scatter on arrival). If you're talking about joining after they turn up, I don't see why not - but you'll either want to keep the Farseer in reserve or with another unit so he doesn't get singled out.

More's the point, though - I don't see why you *would* do this. Given some of the Farseer powers only affect Eldar, there are many many other, better uses for him.

His only purpose is for Doom and psychic defense. Honestly, I'd rather keep him with the rest of the army. Farsight's unit is often a suicidal one.
