It's expensive and I want more for my buck...
Is there other companies with a better deal out there?

Or perhaps milliput? Or some bulk purchase of plumbers epoxy putty?

Are you buying from the g dubs? because yeah that is expensive.

also Regular green stuff or liquid green stuff because tamia and vallejo both have liquid filler.

Just look for Kneadatite. That is what GW sells at a HUGE markup.

I recommend the tubes of Kneadatite as you don't have to cut out a section like you do with the tape form.

I like Procreate a lot better than GS. Seems to be somewhat less sticky to me.

I have tried plumbers epoxy and found it to be very stinky and difficult to work with. The only other thing I have worked with is the GW brand, but that is only because I haven't run out yet. When I do I plan on trying some Procreate.

If you search Kneadatite 36 on ebay you should run into a few listings selling GS for about $15 for 3 feet. I've never seen any brand of epoxy cheaper.

I would stay away from plumbers epoxy. Elmers used to make a cheap variant I used for bulk filling, but it's stinky, hard to work, probably toxic, and sets within minutes rather than the hour or so GS gives you to work. (Off the market around here now anyway for some reason, Walmart had a type of generic Kneadatite too that I can't find anymore.)

I notice my posts seem to bring threads to a screeching halt. Considering the content of most threads on dakka, you're welcome.

We'll find out soon enough eh.

As has been mentioned, Green Stuff is actually the cheapest of the "stuffs"(green, brown, and grey). But give ProCreate a go, it's not quite as cheap as the bulk-buy kneadite, but it's easier to work with.

I need to acquire plastic Skavenslaves, can you help?
I have a blog now, evidently. Featuring the Alternative Mordheim Model Megalist.

Seconded for the tubes of GS. Though I've been wanting to try some different putties, I just don't use it fast eenough. Though I've wanted to try mixing milliput with GS to change the working dynamics of it and help it keep fine detail better.

Apoxie sculpt - its inexpensive, driest MUCH harder than greenstuff, and has decent working time.

Highly recommended.

Search on amazon or other places - seriously, its very inexpensive.

I use back2baseix (a SA company) for $15 for 36inches/105 grams or so.

Works great, and if an Aussie can do it so can you.
