So I've heard that a brief hot bath is the trick to get things like swords and staves that come off the sprue bent back in a nice straight line with Finecast, but the other day I got Sammael on his jetbike and the rear fin of the main bike structure is bent.

It's a bit thicker than most of the things I have seen straightened and I just figured I would ask around before I went ahead with trying to straighten it myself if the water method would still work or if I should try something else to warm it up?

I'm also wondering how careful I should be about touching the wing detailing on the fin when trying to straighten it, since I don't want to damage the detail there?

I would contact GW or FW and ask for a replacement. They have been pretty good at that for me. If they say they will send you a new one then you can pretty much try whatever you want to straighten out the one you have.

good idea Depraved, I'd totally overlooked that possibility, I'll give it a shot.
