I would like to know how big the tripods are too. I like the sharp edges to their legs as it turns the often hokey looking tripod into a scary looking death-machine.

Yep. Was just showing what I had found for possible tripod options.

That said, $30 isn't too far different than the KS tripods' costs, depending on what model you choose.

Rebel Minis also sells a smaller version in the $15 neighborhood.
