This goes in the army list section. YMDC is for rules confusions and mixups that need explainations.

First off, I would suggest dropping 2 Devastator squads for a Stormraven, or 1 squad for an Aegis Line for AA.

Secondly I would suggest spending the 5 points to bring it to the 2000. You are not forced to have 2 FOC.

solid list, but i would swap the plasma cannon dev for an agis def line, and another prist to give them fnp for point filler

so many assult squads it is insane, but keep in mind that you can use your div for reroll to 2 squads, so try and make those squads your deathstar and have the others hold objectives , the flamer spam one for objective and infantry killing, and melta for general anti tank, while missiles give support fire, agis for anti air, now all you have to do is get there

GO BLOOD ANGELS!!

I think I will switch the plas-dev squad for a priest and aegis with quad-gun but the reason I had the plas-devs was so that I had an answer to the increasing issue of terminator armies or deathstars, without the plas-devs what would be a good strategy to solve this problem? Also what would be a good composition for my Assault squads, should I have 2 meltas and 2 flamer squads or is the current composition good? Thanks.

i would make 1 of the melta ones that the libby will not be in a flamer one

and yes terminators are a problem, but missiles are cheaper and can take on hords and medium and light vehicals ( heavy to if their lucky )

another thing you can do is swap the assault marines for sanguinary guard, but thats up to you, everything is good the way it is

sanguiary priest on each assault squad, libby with metla squad flamer squad goes to cap objectives priest on quad gun, and 2 dev squads to gain from the aoe fnp arua and shoot missiles everywhere

and land speeders with flamers to mop up infantry hords ( or give them mm to pop tanks easy )

Quad Guns are not really that good... At BS4, despite being Twin-Linked and everything, you are looking at 0.59 Glances and 0.59 Penetrations against AV 12 per turn (so maybe 1 HP per turn). That goes down to 0.40 if they Jink.

I'll grant you that Devastators with Missile Launchers, even with Prescience, are worse. Each squad gets 0.22/0.40 Penetrations and 0.11/0.20 Glances depending if that is without/with re-rolls to hit. So while its 3 times better than a squad of Devastators, its like the "strength of an ant" myth. Sure, an ant can lift 50x its body weight (arbitrary number), but 50 times nothing is still nothing.

So definitely try to take a Storm Raven. A nose mounted Twin-Linked Meltagun on a Flyer is one of the better anti-air weapons, and since its basically all you have to work with without getting into Allies...

ive gotten my heldrake shot down the moment it got on by a bs 3 gaurdsman. also other then marine armys most vehicals are armor 10 10 10 or 11 10 10 for their air, so unless your fighting chaos or another marine army, your set
