Hi all. I'm working on some pink horrors, but despite the lightest blend of my pinks and purples and peaches and everything else I'm not satisfied with how pink they are. I want the strongest, brightest, most eye-searingly pink shade of pink put into a bottle by mortal hands. What's the best pink anyone's used, be it straight from the bottle or a secret family recipe?

Well pink pink, would be made with magenta rather than red, I suggest you start by looking for the strongest pure magenta you can find which might be in ink form or paint form from one of the well known artists acrylics brands... or looking through the craft paints at your local arts store for something particularly vivid.
Fairly sure you can get fluorescent pink from daler rowney system 3 if thats not going too far.

Edit amusingly; GW recently enlarged their line of paints to 145 + some more edge paints... yet out of all those 150something paints... theres not a single one that is magenta seem they missed a rather important part of the colour wheel right there. While they used to; as I have a hexagonal screw top citadel pot of magenta ink right here in my hand.

Oohh that is very pink isnt it!
With tne new citadel paints I guess warlock purple = screamer pink, and liche purple = Xereus purple.
Allthough I feel that the old ones were brighter.

Do what Disney do to make their grass look greener; put the opposite colour next to it.

What Disney do is have a specific shade of pink as their brick tiling which is the opposite of the grass so it looks greener.

Grab a colour wheel, decide on a pink, and have the base as the opposite colour.

I think it occurs because your eye gets 'worn out' so to speak from looking at the opposite colour so much that your brain begins to compensate and show the desired colour more.

Although you'd probably need to have a strong base to accomplish it I think.

That fluorescent pink looks like it could do the trick. And yeah that's a good idea with the opposing colors, I'll probably do their tongues and various extremities in neon green to make it even pinker.

Those are not pink horrors and the main color is green and pink only secondary but look here:
http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/510943.page

Those models are a very good example of the neon green <---> pink combination. Especially the demon prince.

Some useful paints and inks for bright pinks:

Krylon :Watermelon" spray paint. Nice bring pink, but it a satin so needs to be flatted after spraying
Plaid Folk Art "Bright Pink"
ModelMaster Acryl "Trident Pink" Deep bright pink.
Koh-I-Noor Drawing ink "Carmine" Hot pink pigmented ink
Pelikan Drawing ink "Carmine" Hot pink transparent ink. Hard to find because its no longer imported into the US, but my favorite hot pink ink

Crappy photos of Pelikan Carmine ink over Krylon Watermelon on Tyranid lash whips here:
