I am impressed with the game. I played two 15 point games and now I'm hooked. I was everblight and used the 2 player starter box. My first opponent was Khador. He used the guy that's feat causes everything in range to not be able to do anything. I won that game barely. My entire army got caught in that so I did not get to go lol. I then played cnygar and only lost my canrivain. Lilith is pretty smoking with shredders.

The math is simple and the game flows. So it looks like I am gonna stick with the legion since I am liking the melee.

Ah I was wondering who the male khador warcaster who could stop people doing things was, I was quite confused. I hate sorsha, both versions of her.

Lol ah yeah. At least you guys knew who it was. stationary for my entire army sucked lol.

Just remember, Warcaster's Warlocks, Warjacks and Warbeasts can Shake and Remove stationary at the cost of 1 Focus / Fury Each.

Yup, its just going to cost you a Focus to do it.

Its done during the model's activation. So you would allocated Focus to jacks, and during each of their activations they could spend a Focus to shake the effect. the same with the warcaster.

That's not activating by shaking it off?

Her Feat just makes you stationary, you don't lose your activation.

It's done during the control phase, pg74 of Primal, under Shake effect.

Stationary actually makes it so you cannot activate, just to be clear (P64 of Prime). Shaking gets around that by happening in the control phase, as mentioned.

The mountain king has a bad reputation due to his low rat and mat. That is what they are trying to get at. Don't let it get you down. the mountain king has some unexplored tech with his killshot spray, it's just hard to look at him and accept he's not 100% beatstick.

The only real issue he has is that he's pretty easy to kill in one round. But if you don't kill him he can heal himself up pretty good.

King is quite the beatstick if you take into account his animus and that the caster can throw it up for a single Fury, free if the runebearer has done his thing. Then you have King advance to a point and then Sweep with a fist. You'll get boosted attack rolls against every model within reach, followed by a Kill Shot spray after one of the kills. That's how you make him work to beatstick potential. Put the Krielstone nearby for a bit of added armor and even Earthborne with Janissa is you're dead set on trying to keep King protected. All things added, King will have Arm 23, Def 12 possible with Borka. That's requiring you go all out for the King though...

You just don't use him to kill high Def stuff. And if you must kill all those Kayazy then you use Sweep attacks under effect of Amuk.
