Today I almost finished my latest project, the trenches gaming table.
It is 120cm x 60cm and has 9 LED lights.
On the back there is a tunnel, linking the cannon to the battlefield and the bunker.
In the middle of the board there are two elevators, bringing troops, ammo and other supplies to the battlefield.
It still needs some small touch ups

I was gonna say thats a really nice table, then I saw the underground work... That's a Fantastic table!! Really great job.

It looks really great, and would make a great display table. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like it would be much use for gaming, as the surface is so rough I doubt you'd be able to get models to stand easily outside the trenches.

That's an amazing display table! The lighting, the detail work, it's all great.

How does it play, though? The patches of uneven mud and debris don't look like you could stand models there, which would severely limit the table's usefulness as a game table if that's the case.

The elevator in the pics that are ninth and tenth from the bottom: does it actually go up and down? If so, that's next level!

I love the underground section - very nice touch!

If you plan on making more, I suggest some collapsed/shelled trench sections for getting you into and out of no mans land and some shallower trenches.

Wow that is one of the cooler tables I've ever seen. Seems like it would be AMAZING for kill team and combat patrol games.

Looks great, but I must say it seems odd to see SM in trenches. Wars of attrition are just not their thing.

Love the info posters. Trench foot is serious stuff.

I get a real Maginot line vibe from this. Did the line serve as inspiration at all?

What I wouldn't give for a table like that!

At first I was like, "this is pretty good. Great detail." Then I saw the tunnels, and I had to pull another person in just to exclaim how awesome it is.

Like others have said, I think it is more use as a display board as it may be hard to stand figs on.

Tanks and big figures are not a problem. Small troop models are a little more difficult. It can be done but placing the troops takes more time than in a normal game.

How high are the ceilings in your tunnels? Just over 3 inches?
