This seems oddly familiar doesn't it?

Do you play 30k? It'd be a lot cooler if you did.

I love Nutella, but don't see it going with oatmeal.

But, you know, I never tried it, either.

So, after reading the article it sounds like Ferrero SpA thought that having control over their brand image was more important than positive, free marketing from passionate fans....

At least unlike certain other companies we shall not mention, they backed out of it after the mistake instead of say cutting off their social media ties, shutting the blinds and jamming their thumbs in their ears.

Allowing fan pages to exist doesn't necessarily mean you lose control of your brand.

Ferrero SpA might want to learn that

Yet what to the naked eye looks like a comprehensive marketing campaign costing Ferrero precisely nothing set off “brand defence” alarm bells, and the company instructed Rosso to shut down the site and its associated social media accounts.

SO whats actually good with Nutella. I figure like a bran muffin or something but there has to more items to add to that. Granted I ate at the US DFAC mostly an not at the Canadian/Brits DFAC

Since they backed off and negotiated with the organiser, it sounds like they did learn that.

It's pretty good on ice cream. And I came across a recipe a while back for making mousse which is essentially just whipped cream and Nutella. Other than that, I've never found anything decent to do with it other than just eating it straight out of the jar...

I am curious, what was going in the oatmeal before nutella? I just put a bit of milk on it to cool it down, maybe brown sugar. nutella actually sounds good!

so far as I have found, nutella tastes good with everything but cheese.

It's good on wonder bread as the worst sandwiches possible to feed a child.

It'd probably be good on a peanut butter sandwich, but it's been awhile since I've had it and I don't think I've ever tried it that way.

The only downside is it's something crazy like 100 cal a spoonful or something, it does taste glorious though.

There is no downside to Nutella you bloody heathens!

It is best served as it was meant: on bread.

Not that limp stuff that comes sliced but fresh baked crusty bread or croissants.

Its not too shabby on a pancake too.

Basically anything warm....like a finger, so straight from the jar really.

Step 1: spread some Nutella on two pieces of white bread.
Step 2. put those two pieces of bread together.
Step 3: you just experienced a staple of having an Italian grandmother.

Ugh. Putting it on bread is quite possibly the worst thing to do with Nutella. Chocolate anything and bread just don't mix.

So I couldn't tempt you to a mars bar toasted sandwich then?

Edit:Or bread and butter pudding with chocolate in between the slices of bread?

I read somewhere that 80% of Italians admitted having had sexual fantasies involving Nutella.

It makes you think.

Thefirst time I ever had Nutella, it was on white bread, on the assumption that it's a spread, and that's what you do with spreads.

That's the reason that I thought for years that I didn't like Nutella...

Nutella is something that I've not had in awhile, but like notprop says, it's awesome on warm things.

Chocolate spread (I prefer ChapterHouseChocolate Spread rather than GWtella) is excellent with peanut butter - especially on toast. I personally love white chocolate spread, or the swirl stuff with milk and white mixed together. I did recently have some chocolate orange spread which was pretty nice. I once had some caramel chocolate spread which was also very nice.

The best way to eat chocolate though is on freshly baked, still warm French bread. I used to go on camping holidays to France with my family when I was smaller and that kind of makes France worth going to
