What are people using (model wise) for halflings these days? The metal ones are a little static...

Would LOTR dwarves work?

I wouldnt use dwarves from lotr, because they are dwarves and look like dwarves not halflings.

What unit do you need halflings for? Is the cook pot thing back for Empire.

Lord of the rings models are too small, besides halflings don't have beards. The old metal ones are the best but they are becoming harder to find. I have also found these guys to be really cool they also have an ebay store and ship world wide.

I run a Halfling army, most of mine are GW, but for any new units I add I think I will be using battle forge stuff. Similar size and they have a lot of character.

If you like halflings check out my battle report, my halflings vs my friends DoW.
