I'm hoping this is the right forum, but here goes. I want a command squad for my DA but the command squad set is cover in ultramarines stuff. How much will a command squad look like ultramarines and will I have to convert them to Dark angels will other sets?

I've used the standard space marine command squad for my DA before, and it works fine. You can easily build them to not have ultra marine bits, and added bonus if you have some DA bits laying around to toss on them for extra DA effect.

Depends on what bits you have. If you have enough spare parts around to make a standard bearer, Apothecary and the weapons you want then get the Company Veterans since they look much more Dark-Angelly. However, the Command Squad box is deliberately blank enough to use for any Chapter so you can easily make them Dark Angels - as pwntallica mentioned, spare bits from other kits, especially the Dark Angels upgrade sprue, will go a long way.

I've got a big enough pile of bits around that I just used the DA veterans box and added the special parts I wanted to make them more specifically a command squad. No worries about the DA vets looking like Dark Angels either.

The veterans box has all the parts you need bar the apothecary stuff.
