With the new eldar release coming up I was wondering if Wayland games is able to ship GW products in general to canada or not?

I have heard about trade restrictions but as far as I know it only applies to North Americans stores selling to other countries.

There was a UK policy change first. I don't think Wayland sells GW outside of the EU.

It says on their site that they do not ship to Canada.

Your best bet is probably Discount Games Store on eBay. They sell GW to Canada at a discount of US prices.

Just wanted to add that GW has been under producing their Tau product available to independent retailers and people are not sure just how much Eldar stuff will be sent to independent retailers. It looks like they might be up to their old trick of short shipping the indy stores so the only place you can reliable get the new stuff is to buy it directly from GW for more money. Hopefully where ever you end up ordering the Eldar from, they'll be able to get it to you in a timely fashion.

Apparently we use the same store. I just emailed Steve on Thursday and he says he has no idea.

He was not very specific, so I am not very sure if he meant that he will get the eldar release sometime after or he will not be getting them.

It does feel like he gets less GW in that he'd want. That's mainly why I moved on to other games, which he can supply aplenty. But with the prices of those kits (not opening that kettle) I'd buy the codex only, locally, and then make multiple shopping lists and then wittle it to "must haves."

Agreed. Discount Games and Meeplemart in Toronto are the two best options I've found. Both well priced, both with fast reasonable shipping.

Discount Games has a website as well if you don't want to go through EBay.

I think he gets less GW products because some time ago on facebook he said he will consider to stop carrying GW products in mid June. So that would be a reason why he does get much, he just not ordering that much.

black knight games does orders over the phone/email still with 10% off, and if you join the miniwargaming vault (7day free gold trail) you should be able to get some coupons

I will also give a thumbs up to Meeplemart. All of my orders have been well packed and shipped out very quickly to me (usually expedited post).

With the renovations underway I am tempted to check out the gaming space BlackKnight has, but it is still a bit of a drive.
