Halfway between nowhere and anarchy

Hey Dakka

Im starting a Necromunda Gang (hopefully) using Catachan models and Orlock rules. Fluff wise theyre an independant Bounty Hunter gang and are subsequently loathed by everyone.

Anyhoo, they are going to heavily feature Autoguns and I was wondering if anybody knew of a way to make them from Catachan Lasguns WITHOUT using boltguns. I have all the tools and stuff but no green stuff ( I use it with the skill of a blind chimp)

The internet has nothing, how about you guys, any suggestions?

I beg to dream and differ from these hollow lies

I would just cut off the end of the lasgun and add a small section of plastic tubing. Sorted.

Find a slug thrower that tickles your fancy and buy a few. They will even be a better scale to your necromunda dudes than GW's uberscale weapons

IG lasguns, replace the mag with a bit of plasticard, nip off the end of the rifle (as already mentioned) and replace the tip, and the lasty truly tricky component, is to create the hole for the bolt/cocking handle. My reccomendation is to spend the time and effort of creating a few decent magazine replacements/swaps, casting molds, and away you go.

Then again, there are many different kinds of firearms with different ammunition capacities, so you can even leave the las-rifle as is and just change the barrell and the length of the body....

It doesn't matter how bloody far the apple falls from the tree. If the apple fell off of a Granny Smith, that apple is going to grow into a Granny bloody Smith. The only difference is whether that apple grows in the shade of the tree it fell from.
