I am just wondering if anyone noticed that the wraith knight was cheaper in Australia than it was in Canada by 15$, just seeing if anyone else finds it weird. Automatically Appended Next Post: Also the wraith blade seem to be cheaper also.

Yes, most of the new releases in Oz are only around 10% dearer than the US price. The exceptions being the bundles and the codexes.
It seems that GW are finally starting to pay attention to all of the exchange rate complaints.
Obviously, the Canadians need to start making more noise about it

Because the US is right there, and there it is really easy to buy from US stores online, most Canadians either buy from the US, or their FLGS offers US pricing. Basically, any store which takes their warhammer sales seriously isn't charging Canadian prices, expect for GW itself, of which there are very few in Canada.
I just kind of ignore the canadian prices, they have no relevance for me, and I haven't bought anything at that rate in over a year since my FLGS changed their pricing over, and is now moving a lot more product.
Except the Hobbit, it's collecting dust.

Therefore, I conclude, Valve should announce Half Life 2: Episode 3.

But even my FLGS isn't exactly on par with American prices with their discount, I find it hilarious that driving across the border to an Actual GW store in the states would cost less (including gas into the equation) than buying from stores here. Problem is I don't see it changing in the future, I'm hoping when I move to the to Lindsay ON that the FLGS there is on discount.

Used to be cheaper to drive across the border for a lot of stuff. Or so I've heard.

Lindsay has enough of a population for a hobby shop? I figured up there you'd have to drive out to Peterborough.

Yeah apparently it has 2 of the same chain, giant a** hobby shop, has a league that built a board for last years big deal Toronto tourney according to their website, just doesn't mention prices sigh.
As to the cheaper to drive across the border part, with my car yeah it almost would be. Now don't get me wrong my FLGS I go to currently does discount significantly but its only somewhat comparable to buying straight up american GW prices, and the next nearest discount store I know of from Kitchener is in Toronto lol

Be thankful you're not in Burlington...
Not only do our stores not discount product, they can't even be bothered to order it in most of the time! (but we're getting a GW store back which means at least we'll have access to stuff, even if it is full price)
At least we have 1 store though with gaming rooms, even if the terrain is limited to old GW HQ cast-offs.

I used to go to the original Mapleview mall GW, back in the good old days when they had auctions for old product, surplus product and boards. Actually the 4x4 cities of death board I have at home got for $50 bucks came from there lol

The auctions were fun for sure...
Though my poor sense of smell is still recovering from the reek of a couple notorious customers while my taste buds are still spitting up what amounts to chewing rotten sweat-farts & week-old crusty unwashed poop...
You know it's bad when the staff have to put a freaking "please remember good personal grooming before attending" on the damn event flyer!

Yeah I always remembered to rub a bit of deodorant just under my nostrils to insure that never happened. Knew a guy who was a sanitation engineer, said it was a trick of the trade when they ran out of that special gel they use

Try going to Black Knight in Hamilton. Cheaper prices, friendlier staff(then HK), and they just renovated(moved to the space next door in the same plaza) and doubled the amount of gaming space. But unfortunately I know it will be hard for you to get out there, it takes me an hour and a half by bus from Mapleview.

Bout time it happened too. $40 for 3 is downright reasonable.

I don't mind putting up with the Canadian prices.... but it largely has to do with the fact that the staff at the Toronto Yonge GW are great
Wraithknight did surprise me though.
