Hello,
I am trying to do some conversion to make a few chaos spawn. I wanted to use the skaven rat ogre model, because i would like my spawn to be beefy
My question is how do i make it so the rat ogre look like it belong in the csm army?
Any input would be appreciated.

Ps, the rat ogre are from the island of blood box.

I'd say buying one spawn kit (or bits off ebay) to slap on them would make it work nicely

I have half a mind to kill you, and the other half agrees

Well that depends on what style your army is and what god it follows (if any). But i think it doesn't require that much more details to be 40k grim-dark-y.

I would replace his head with something less ratlike maybe a head from some of the demon models or a demon prince. Maybe the gaping maw of a pink horror reaching down into his chest? But i don't know it that would be to large as i don't know the scale of the rat ogre model.

You could try to add additional armor plates - either sculpted on or useing plasticard - and add cables and such so that i looks like he once was a normal marine and his armor cracked open and/or fused with his flesh.

You could also add a few arms and tentacles growing out of his back and front if you want to match his design with that of the normal spawns.
