I'm considering starting a daemon army but having spent my life painting only guardsmen and tanks (with occasional marine) I have no idea where to start.

How do you prime them? What inks/washes make the feathers or skin comes out well? Anyone have any interesting tips for how to paint these large daemons?

Thanks

Star Trek taught me so much. Like, how you should accept people, whether they be black, white, Klingon or even female...

Tzeentch is all about color and change, so honestly you can paint them in any possible way imaginable. Prime it all white and then just go nuts, there doesn't need to be an underlying color scheme or unified theme.

For feathers, a quick and dirty method would be to prime white, wash it all some underlying dark color like blue or purple that will be the skin tone, then highlight the feathery portions in a separate color and wash again with a complimentary color. Drybrush the feathers whatever color they're going to be, then heavily highlight with a lighter shade. One last thin highlight on the very tips of the lightest and it should look decent.
