Has anyone tried to derivet the plastic Bane blade? I much preferred the FW aesthetic but that is no longer available.

I remember upon first seeing it that it was rivet overload. I've searched for pics but can't find any. Will I be the first?

There is a word for a wargamer with an empty paint bench.

Dead.

I don't think anyone has done it yet, most likely due to some many rivets on it that it would one take a long time, and two, you will probably do more damage to it since some are in some hard to reach corners.

I'm currently working on mine, magnetizing it so it can be a baneblade or shadow sword, or any version of those two tanks. If yo do decide to be the first, post some picks and I might do the same if it looks good.

Too many rivets, you say.
You shall suffer for your heresy

De....rivet?

Wh-why...? Why would anyone derivet something? You best remove your heresy before the League of Extraodinary Riveters finds out about this.

Ok so to actually answer your question. I think your best option is to get each part and carefully scrape off each rivet with a hobby knife. It will take a gak ton of work and time but thats probably your best option.
Alternatively you could file them off. But that might be a little haphazard.
