I have been toying around with this list for a while, and am wondering how competitive this all sounds as far as the tournament scene is concerned.
HQ - Necron Overlord with Warscythe, Catacomb Command Barge
HQ - Necron Overlord with Warscythe, Catacomb Command Barge
Royal Court A- 2 Harbingers of the Storm with Voltaic Staff, 1 Harbinger of Destruction with Solar pulse
Royal Court B - 2 Harbingers of the Storm with Voltaic Staff, 1 Harbinger of Destruction with Solar pulse
Troops - 5 Warriors in Ghost Ark
Troops - 5 Warriors in Ghost Ark
Troops - 5 Warriors in Ghost Ark
Troops - 5 Warriors in Ghost Ark
Elite - Triarch Stalker
Elite - Triarch Stalker
Elite - Triarch Stalker
Heavy Support - Annihilation Barge
Heavy Support - Annihilation Barge
Heavy Support - Annihilation Barge
This list should come out right at 1990 points. Without the Crypteks it is 1800 points, which leaves me the core of the army list. So what i am considering now is whether or not;
A.) This could be Competitive. I think it could deal with quite a bit of the big tournaments lists, at least where I play.
B.) If there is a better way to spend the 200 points. I could add a fifth Ghost Ark with Warriors inside, which would help with objectives, but i also like the utility of the Crypteks.
and C.) What i should be watching out for as far as hard counters. I think Melta spam could be dangerous, especially with the new Fire Dragons/ Wraithguard being considered so highly effective.
I would like to keep the AV 13 core of the list, but i know how the Internet sees Triarch Stalkers. So thoughts and constructive criticism would be very appreciated.

I think 3 stalkers is probably taking away a bit from the effectiveness of the rest. I'd suggest dropping one and using the points to :
a) add MSS to the overlords
b) Add more warriors.
Given the amount you are paying to TL, I think you'd get a better return with more warriors.
One other thing, re the crypteks, I don't see the point of having a stormtek and destructek in the same squad. (or, I don't see the point of having 2 stormteks in a squad.)
You probably don't want any walking warriors, but I'd be inclined to let the 2 destructeks steal a GA.

The stormteks join different warrior squads in the ghost arks and give me more antivehicle power, for landraiders and what not. 4 shots with a voltaic staff usually ends whatever unfortunate vehicle was in the way. The pulseteks join the warrior squads as well, and give be the ability to advance with some impunity. Night Fighting more often than not gives me vehicles a 3 or 4+ cover save.
And the triarch stalkers provide twin linking for the other stalkers, the crypteks, and the secondary barge guns.
If i were to replace a triarch stalker, it would probably be with another ghost ark full of warriors. The idea is to present several AV 13 threats in an overload fashion.

Yes, I appreciate what the stormteks and pulse teks do. My point was that Pulseteks are long range anti vehicle, Stormteks are short range anti vehicle and the warriors and GA are mid range anti infantry (with AV from glances).
So, after you use your pulses are you going to shoot the unit at an infantry squad (wasting the pulsetek) or are you going to shoot it at a vehicle from long range (wasting the GA and warriors)?
Re the stalker - as I said, I think more warriors will serve you better. If you think that you'll have enough shots to shoot at three different units all hit by different stalkers, fine. If you are going to focus fire on a couple of units, you don't need 3 stalkers, 2 will do.

Only issue with Stormteks in GA is their range. Getting to within 12 inches likely isn't going to happen, at least against things like land raiders. To be honest, I would just put more destruct teks in there. Getting TL on that high str low ap lance will be good against most things, not to mention TL on gauss.
On the Stalkers I would run two of themwith the TL heavy gauss cannon and one with the heatray. Just to give you a little extra help with hordes and assaultly based armies.
I'm not a fan of the surf lord but in this case, There isn't a lot that can be done with the points and stay in this list.
