hello,
Just a quick question, can you use a teleport homer for the power Gates of Infinity? or is it only for terminators teleporting in from reserve.
cheers

Teleport homers only work when teleporting, not with other forms of Deep Strike. A Locator Beacon (Scout bikers and an upgrade for Drop Pods / Stormravens) work with any form of Deep Strike.
In either case, both only work when "Arriving" by deep strike, so the question would be 'do they count as arriving when using Gate'.
The Necron equivalent of this (with Deathmarks) was recently FAQ'd not to work.

Teleport homers work only with teleporting units (no drop-pods or jump packs). You need a locator beacon which negates scatter during any form of deep-strike.
Edit: got ninja'd

To be more precise Teleport Homers only work on Terminators arriving from reserves via Deep Strike.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.
Orks always ride in single file to hide their strength and numbers.

In the Dark Angel codex the teleport homer notes that it may be used by units composed solely of models in terminator armour when they deep strike. Nothing about having to arrive from reserve. So if the unit is a terminator squad with a terminator librarian, then they should be able to use a homer using GoI.
Given the limitations, is hardly a practical tool, but it could be useful in a Deathwing army to consolidate your forces I guess.
