I have just got the new Eldar codex and one thing sprang to mind so... here we go.

This is just as much a rules proposal as much as a question: Why does Maugan Ra not have the Reapers aim [the one which makes a squad ignore coversaves and jinx(Sorry I am not using an English codex, but a german copy, hence the missing termina. I'll try to describe then clearly)]. Also, as a kind of counterbalance, limit this piece of awesome equipment to the Exarch of the Dark Reapers (and Maugan Ra). Other Phoenix Kings have their trademark equipment (Wings, an even improved Striking-Scorpionblaster, improved Bansheemask, etc, etc) only MR does not, apart from Fuegan but he got TONS of other freaky good stuff instead. Instead old Maugan gets... nightvision . An ability which is obsolete anyway as soon as someone uses reaper aim, since that ignores ALL cover- and jinxsaves, no matter the value, and the weaponrange of both the reaperlaunchers as well as the Maugetars' is 36" (Max sightrange for nightfighting)! This looks ridiculous!

If MR would have this he would be a great support/combo commander for (Storm-)Guardians, Dire Avengers, Wraithguards, Rangers...; Basically anything walks and relies on shooting!! Give him a price increase if need be, but please! Ignoring coversaves has been a trademark for him in previous editions, too.

That does strike me as slightly bizarre, but given that the pointy-eared folk are kind of spoiled for HQ choices I'm not sure it's very urgent (I'm personally leaning towards Illic and Eldrad over Maugan Ra going forward).
