Hi ! I might get back in WMH soon, but first I wanted to know which caster/lock where good at running list heavy in jacks/beasts, cause I'm more into this and solo than in mass infantry. Also, I'd like to know how you find them (easy or difficult for a beginner).
Thx for your time.

First of all, Hordes does plenty of Beast better than Warmachine does plenty of Jacks

Among the Hordes faction, Skorne has the strongest beast and strongest beast support with their Beasthandlers and Willbreakers

The 2 Highest damage Beasts in the game is the Bronzeback from Skorne and the Rok from Trollbloods

Within Skorne, pMorghoul and either version of Makeda is often seen as the main beast caster, tho many other casters can run plenty of beasts.

Xerxis in particular will make people cry when he gives his gives his beasts 1d6+5 POW (with PGBH) or 4d6+5+Pow with boost/charge

6+ = 6/36 | Reroll 1s = 7/36 | Reroll Misses = 11/36 ||||||| 5+ = 12/36 | Reroll 1s 14/36 | Reroll Misses = 20/36 ||||||| 4+ = 18/36 | Reroll 1s 21/36 | Reroll Misses = 27/36
3+ = 24/36 | Reroll 1s 28/36 | Reroll Misses = 32/36 ||||||| 2+ = 30/36 | Reroll 1s 35/36 ||||||| Highest of 2d6 = 4.47

Legion of Everblight also does Beast heavy rather well thanks to Shepherds and Forsaken. Their new Minor Warlocks are also good for running a few extra Lessor Warbeasts.

For Warjacks, Menoth does rather well thanks to their Choir and Avatar being self fueled.

Brisbane, Australia

Yeah, Legion closely followed by Skorne are probably the two best beast heavy factions, though I think Legion is slightly better at it (just my opinion).

Menoth is the best fo running a consistantly decent number of jacks, always able to run 2-4 jacks well enough with any caster, followed by Cygnar, which has a couple of good options for fitting in extra jacks. Khador and Cryx are very much infantry heavy outside of one or two Jack Casters in each faction. I'd definitely recommend Menoth if you like playing a few jacks, but we tend to always have a mixture of jacks and infantry, even if our Jacks can be quite strong. The Focus mechanism always means that there are deminishing returns to taking more jacks, even for those casters/factions who support them well.

Surprised nobody has mentioned the Convergence yet. Probably the best warjack heavy faction bar none, although they technically haven't been released yet.

To get more than a handful of choices, you'll unfortunately be waiting a bit longer than that. I'd expect about a year before all the releases hit stores.

They've said everything for convergence will be out within one year, yeah.

If you want to go down the Warmachine path, Harbinger of Menoth, Choir and the Avatar is a good place to start for a Jack heavy list. If you were interested in solos too, you could throw in Vilmon and a few Paladins
