I'm trying to find a kit that would work well as a Proxy for a titan. Being that a forge world kit is outside my price range. I've debated as to what would be best. I've looked at DreamForges Leviathan. I don't mind it. I'm just wondering what else is out there that might work.

You should ask the people you play with what they expect from a proxy. For example, the Leviathan is too small to be a titan IMO and not armed correctly, but maybe the people you play with would be willing to accept it.

There is no such thing as a hobby without politics. "Leave politics at the door" is itself a political statement, an endorsement of the status quo and an attempt to silence dissenting voices. |

The leviathan will have enough weapon options once phase 2 of the kickstarter is finished which should be soon( tm). It's a little shorter, but noticeably less bulky. This does however result in it looking 100% more awesome. As demonstrated here, here, and here for example.

I think I could work with it. I've just been wondering if anyone had any other ideas.

Have you considered the idea of renting a small child?

I don't know..I wouldn't be happy at all with using that Levithan as a titan. It's WAY too small and it just smacks of "Modelling for Advantage" with it being so small compared to a proper titan.

Depends what race you play. Eldar (darn them) have the wraithknight, which is only a couple of inches shy of the revenant.
As for imperial titans? Check out mxwllmdr on DakkaDakka. He scratchbuilds them from shear amazingness.
IF you can get dimensions, scratchbuild away! I regularly play apocalypse, and all the forge world items (thunderhawks and reavers, with a heirophant thrown in for fun) are scratchbuilt. They are obviously not the real thing, but some kid painted up the garbage eater from the movie "robots" at it is the coolest ork mek ever!
