Subject: Repainting my Eldar to Mymeara-Need help with Paints and brushes!

Hey all,
It's been quite a while since I've done any painting, as I have been sending my stuff out to get painted for a while. I've recently got an itch to get back into the modeling/painting side again. This seems like a pretty good start!
Right now, all of my assembled and painted Eldar are in the Ulthwe, theme. I really like the Mymeara scheme, though, to the point I'd like to repaint all of my stuff to that theme.
http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/Warhammer-40000/Eldar/ELDAR-WARP-HUNTER.html here is an example of it.
I understand it's a bit of an advanced paintscheme, but I've got about a billion guardians I can practice on.
Anyway, I'm pretty much restarting over from scratch, so I'm not quite sure the correct paints.
I figured I should basecoat them white, but I'm a bit lost after that.
I think the basic colors, are going to be Skink blue, Lothern blue, and Teclis blue. I don't really have an eye for this sort of thing though. I need a white, but I'm not sure what shade I need.
Next up, the brushes. I used to have a bunch of Winsor and Newton series 7. I know I only need about three of those, but I don' remember the right sizes. I also need a "tank" brush.
I think that's about it, I'm completely open to suggestion, and correction on the matter! Thanks.

Ulthuan Grey for the white would be perfect.
What do you need to know in regards to stripping paint methods?

I would personally prime white, then paint sotek green all over the body (take a guardian fo example) and paint asurmen blue in the recesses. touch up on sotek green and paint some sotek green + white edge highlights on the prominent armour panels and a pure small thin highlight of white at the tops of certain armour regions. This is what I am going to be doing in my eldar blog here on dakka - though it is not Mymeara I will be using similar colours

I've never done it before, so I'm not quite sure how to go about it.

Well Simple Green is the safest bet for plastic, metal, and resin models.
If you decide to get an Ultrasonic Cleaner--it will work wonders for you. It makes it so you do not have to do as much work when it comes to using your toothbrush or other item for sloughing off the paint you're stripping.
I personally use an old toothbrush for 'fine' work but I use the Citadel "prep brush" for the heavier work or removing paint from tanks. It was a bit more expensive than I would like for that purpose but those stiff bristles are amazing for it.

I started painting mine in Mymeara colors.
If you are curious you can always check out my plog here:

The final result also depends on which brand of paints you are using. Are you open to getting a few colors from other companies to get it just right?

Yeah, I'm completely open to different paints! I'll check out your blog for sure.
All, thanks for the stripping methods, I'll probably start hitting those up before too long.
Does anyone know the series 7 brushes that I should pick up?

I use fairy power spray to strip paint, leave it in for 20-30 mins a toothbrush and the paint falls off.

Thanks!
Well, I think I'm solid on Stripping methods!
Still haven't figured out what brushes and exact paint colors I need yet.
It seems like you really need an Airbrush to do this paint scheme well, which I don't have, nor have any idea where to start on the matter.
