Here's the the thing; I love the colourful armies. You know that pink Necron army, with the butterflies?
I LOVE IT.

I want to make a sisters army... But I can't think of a good paint scheme. I don't want standard. And pink girls is a bit too... bubble gum.

Anyone got any ideas for a FUN sisters paint scheme?

why not gold and purple? you could do some crazy neon highlights with that if you wanted to

Black and bone

Green and red

White and... brown?...

This is the kind of stuff I'm thinking of, but I can't really imagine it in my mind's eye, so to speak. What kind of theme would I be looking at? Japanese modded cars with the neon lights under it? That would be pretty cool to add to the rhinos.

you could look for the colours on a flag that look cool, it's what i did for some tyranids. Green yellow and black, red white and blue, black red and yellow... it's all good

It's a nice mix of Red and Pink if you are going for the colorful and shiny army. It even has blue for a spot color.

Oh, and if you are thinking about Neons and crazy cars, here's a car I like way too much

On topic: What about mimicking classic marine schemes that don't fit the SoB black/white/red normalcy? Like ultramarines, salamanders, or imperial fists? Its bright, but i'm not sure if I'm hitting on "fun" yet.

Could be a masochist and do the black/white but go with a checkered pattern Or heck, paint them like harlequins!

exactly..... muted colors accentuated by bright colors...... imagine an army where instead of dark washes in the crevices there was a bright Object source lighting effect! it would be bright an colorful by any standards and would look really cool IMHO

No no. Do this. Go full bubblegum. Bright pinks, blues, stark whites. Throw in a bit of lime green and purple and you'd have one killer looking S.o.B army.

You could do the classical black or grey armor, except with maybe a neon pink, green, and/or yellow highlights on the edge, somewhat Tron-ish. I know that Tron schemes have become pretty popular lately, but I don't think they're going old anytime soon.
