I had a friend of mine make a playlist for the Tyranids.

See I think Slayer should be the soundtrack to 40k in general. My buddy and I played through that ps3 Kill Team game blasting a couple slayer albums. That was the first time I played anything 40k, and right after that I wanted to start an army.
"It's a good day to die" from Starship Troopers suits the Guard really well. Mentions an eagle and dying and everything. All you have to do is replace "Federation" with "Imperium".
Order of the Righteous Armour - 542 points so far.
lol no. Hammerfall and basically every other power metal band out there is Eldar music for being the most flowery army in the game. Having "wolf" in the song title doesn't make it Space Wolf music.
This is Space Wolf music:
Spoiler:
Spoiler:
Also some other armies' music like Necrons:
Spoiler:
The industrial influences and lyrics of this song really go well together with the Necrons.
and a song that just screams Chaos Space Marine music:
Spoiler:
Space Wolves: 3770
Orks: 3000
Chaos Daemons: 1750
Warriors of Chaos: 2000
Dang, so many videos it's lagging my browser. But I must save them all for future reference because 90% sound awesome...
This song sprung into my head immediately, not sure who would use it though. It's definitely a chaos space marine chapter, the "your god sent us to destroy" line could be talking about the Emperor. World Eaters maybe?
Legio Titanicus (there's some similarities there):
I will take the challenge to find one for Tau. This won't be easy.
Well, I give up. I couldn't find what I wanted (bamboo flute over hard dance) so I'll settle for this.

"Fear is freedom! Subjugation is liberation! Contradiction is truth! These are the truths of this world! Surrender to these truths, you pigs in human clothing!" - Satsuki Kiryuin, Kill la Kill
Despite the Serbian performers and almost cheerful timbre, this is actually a Macedonian song about a witch who built their castle out of young men and women!

Nice call on the Tau suggestions. I will have to buy the Tron and/or Mirror's Edge (always wanted to play that game, never got around to it) soundtracks for painting music.
Here's one more for Noise Marines. This is the most ridiculous over the top noise metal type song I have in my collection. I'm not sure it's the hardest song per say, but it's the one that sounds the most like noise to me. Got to be in the right frame of mind to enjoy it:
