Subject: Help with a dreadknight conversion.

I'm looking for ideas for a head that would be scale to the dreadknight not the operator. I'm currently converting a dreadknight without the baby carrier and want a robot/space marine head that's bigger than the terminator heads so the model won't look too pin headed. Anyone got any good ideas?

Defiler head but it might be to chaosy. Another idea is a dreadnought head. I think there is a head in one of the different kits.
But can't say if it is the appropriate size for a dreadknight.

Hmm the defiler head may work. I don't care about taking time to de-chaosify something after all the effort I've put into re-posing the dreadknight(what a nightmare this was.).
The venerable head I think is only slightly bigger than a normal marine head though. That was my first thought haha.
Edit:does anyone have a spare epic warlord head haha? I found a thread on here from a dude named guitarasmus and that's what he used. I'm using his conversion as inspiration for mine.

Doesn't look too chaosy. The GK have a strong knightly feel for their shtick anyway, looks to me no different than certain Crusades era helmets

Yah, the more and more I look a that head the more I feel it's the right fit. My army of GK is actually modeled as pre-heresy thousand sons and that fits the theme perfect, minus the horns which are a cake walk to remove. Thanks guys I appreciate the help! Automatically Appended Next Post: Ok, next order of business on the conversion front haha. Does anyone have any good ideas to fill the shoulder gap that is left when you don't add the servos and pistons on his top.
I'm really thinking if I can find a suitable way to do it I would like my model not to have the pistons and servo's otherwise I guess I'll just have to suck it up haha.
