For any eldar list with multiple wave serpents, it'll be nice to have an easy way to remember which serpents have shot their shields this turn
Anyone have any ideas for a WYSIWYG shield that might look good?
Ideally, this would also include a hull mounted shield generator thing that you could measure to..
I don't have any ideas yet, but it might be nice to model in some way.

The serpent shield generators are those six protruding pylons/vanes on the front scythes of the vehicle.
Perhaps magnetize the front two and remove them when they've fired? Perhaps put the front two on hinges and lower them perpendicular with the vehicle when the shield has fired?

The original epic scale wave serpent used a v-shaped template thatwas folded around the front of the tank to represent the energy shield. You could make a funky transparent thing to give the same effect.

The image there is a little altered, so you can't see the wires holding the shields in place.
I'd make them out of some kind of clear plastic packaging, or maybe a hard plastic shell from some type of household object (glasses case, similar).
You could put it on a flying stand that you could place around the Serpent, or even in the space in the front.
