Anyone else think that the Crimson Hunter model was supposed to be the DE Void Raven bomber but they smoothed the edges and repackaged it? The Void Raven was supposedly been done for a very long time, but its never come to surface.

The plane sure does have some DE lines, not that hard because DE and Eldar have a similar ascetics. But I really wonder about this. I've been itching to see the Void Raven for so very long. I'm thinking some kit bashing may be necessary.

I think that two factions that used to be related might come up with similiar looking flyers.
Also, the razorwing doesnt also double as a void raven? What are those two gold things where the DL go? arent those the Void lances.

Eldar fliers were supposed to be the base model that DE modified to get their fliers. Surprise that they look similar. Same as craftworld supposed to have a vyper transport that apparently didnt make the codex cut. Guess what the DE have.... the venom.

And Vipers and Venoms look similar too.

Its because they are 2 factions that were once the same civilization.


The Venom and Viper, and Crimson Hunter and Void Raven, were probably based on the same original vehicle design. All those thousands of years ago at the time of the fall.

I totally understand the design philosophy between the two factions. I like that they look similar but different, However, I guess what I really want is my Void Raven model. Where is it? I want to build it. I want to paint it. I want to buy it. Its supposedly done, but there hasn't been any sightings of it outside of the main offices.

Don't they understand. I want to give them money for this model. I'm sure I'm not the only one out there. Take my money damn you GW.

Can't you just get a Razorwing and put the Void Raven's weapons on it?

Surely you have a few dark lance bits laying around.

Those are disintegrator cannons, the alternative loadout of the razorwing. There are no model options for the void lance in the razorwing kit.
