Herald with Exhalted Loci in either Daemonette squad or Seeker squad with squad upgrade champion. Sprinkle in Ether blades for more fun and kill infantry and force squad leaders into challenges with Herald.

What about squad sizes? Fiends? KoS? Chariots?

I run seekers 15-strong, with an icon, a heartseeker wielding an aetherblade, joined by a herald with a greater aetherblade and a locus of beguilement. Also, two squads of daemonettes with aluress' (w/ aetherblades) to deepstrike off the icon. I also run deepstriking obliterators to capitalize on the wording of the daemonic icon.

Basically, the seekers run up the table and get in the opponent's face, along with other things, and turn 2, if you can keep the icon alive, 8/9 of the rest of your amy, including CSM obliterators, deep strike on that icon and proceed to wreck face (assuming you took a comms relay).

Just one of those squads can ruin somebody's day. Four at once is hilarious.

I started with Fiends, but dropped them after a few games. They're not as good as they used to be. I tried maulerfiends, they also kinda sucked.

I'm eager to experiment with a Slaanesh soul grinder with torrent flamer, deepstriking off the icon turn 2 with the rest of the gang - I tink it's a heldrake substitute in many ways, and for cheaper, while adding more ground threat.

I feel chariots can be a competitive choice when teamed up with seekers, fiends, and the KoS. The ability to move them 24+ inches on turn one alone means you are right in your enemies face and he's gonna have to do something about it or suffer those hammer of wrath attacks...meaning, it takes heat off of your KoS, seekers, and fiends, as they also move up the board.

Combine chariots with a herald and the grace loci, and you need not worry about terrain anymore as your just plow into you enemy (haha...plow) with all those hammer (haha...hammering) attacks. Also the basic chariot is cheap as heck so what's not to like?

If you have the points (all slaanesh) Hq deamon princess x2 troops demonetts fast seekers and heavy soul grinder. The Hq can go bio for iron arm or endurance for support the telepathy for invisible.

Why does no one take fiends? They look fantastic on paper as even if it's just to provide the -5 initiative. 4 rending attacks on the charge is pretty good, and the -1 ld is a nice bonus for psychic heavy armies like other daemons, tyranids and eldar.

I feel like I'm missing something, 35ppm is rather hefty but 3 wounds is a lot for that. Although at t4 they're very susceptible to ID...

All good stuff guys. Keep it coming. Also curious to here as to why Fiends aren't popular (besides the model and the cost lol)

I think it's not because fiends are not 'good' it's more like because after spending points on loading up on the more attractive options (KOS, heralds, princes, seekers, troops) you wont have many points left to bring a solid unit of fiends.

Well that, and they are very expensive (money) per model.

I think it's the same basic reason as why 'Crushersthe took a hit. Multi wound T4 isn't as tough as people would like, even in a world of S6/7.

So why are seekers better? They're cheaper, have more attacks, but are less durable.

Also I'm not sure t4 muti wound is the only answer. Hounds are t4 2 wounds, although a fraction of the price. The more I think about it, it's that you're paying for special abilities that aren't that fantastic, at least not 35ppm fantastic. They do come at a steep price.
I guess I answered my own question.

Here is a related question. Is there value in putting a Slaaneshi Herald in the exhalted Chariot?

It's really fast and throws out lots of Rending attacks for fairly cheap.

I think seekers are better just for a few reasons. Namely you don't care if they are hit by str 8 weapons so you're losing fewer points per model, while maintaining your potency. Also that outflank with acute senses can be really nice for board control.

I just think LOS is better then something that can be one shotted. Does the herald disembark if the chariot is destroyed? one thing I never looked into, if it does then it increases the value of it.

Nope, Herald eats it. By LOS, I assume you meant KoS?
If so I'd agree it's definitely tougher, but to be fair it's also nearly 50% more expensive too.

A problem I've run into with my Seeker squad: when I Outflank, the enemy is in area terrain/behind an ADL. This means that I strike at I1, AND I lose at least one model (and once four!) to Dangerous Terrain. Since I don't have a Skull Cannon, I can't fix the first problem, but for the second I've been taking the Locus of Grace instead of Beguilement, and have found that auto-passing DT is a huge bonus for this squad. If you can manage to have a Tzerald/LoC in range of the unit, you can Prescience them for re-rolling hits instead of taking up the Locus slot.
