For most other armies this would not matter that much, but for orks this is a very relevant question:

Let's say I have a mob of 15 boys. I get shot up by an enemy unit and take 4 casualties. That amounts to more than 25% loss, so I have to take a leadership test. Since I'm still 11 models I automatically pass due to being fearless.

Now another unit shoots at me, and kills another 4 and I drop down to 7 models. I now do not have to test again since I only have to test once per shooting phase for shooting casualties.

So the question is basically: Can I make the test as soon as I reach 25% casualties during a shooting phase, or do I have to wait for all the shooting from all enemies to be complete before I can take the leadership test.

AFAIK you test at the end of the phase.

You have to wait until the rules tell you to take it, which is when Deadshot said. And is written in black and white on Page 29 under "When to Test?"

It's end of phase, and once per phase. So in your example, you would take the test since you lost a total of 8 casualties out of 15 (well over the 25% needed).

Looks like I missed the part saying end of phase in the BRB. Then it's crystal clear, and we have luckily played it correctly previously.

Thanks for quick answers guys
