Just wondering what is better the valkyrie or the stormraven?
(Include your points such as the price and all that)

Apples to Oranges, their jobs aren't the same (despite both being transports) and they're not in the same army. The Valkyrie also has competition from the Vendetta, one of the most underpriced models in the game.

The Valkyrie.

It's cheaper, it's got better transport capacity, it's the basis for the Vendeta and Vulture gunships and it looks awesome, while the 'raven looks complete cack.

Forgot to put this in but should I convert a valkyrie to count as a stormraven? (such as gluing the assault cannons from the stormtalon onto it and making the missile pods hold two larger missiles each and make it look more like a spacemarine vehicle)

I agree, if you want that model in your army you could always ally in guard.

Well it could look good...

The Valkyrie is nearly completely unusable as part of an army IMO. The competition from the vendetta is simply too much.

In isolation, however, it is probably about as good as the stormraven.

Voted Valkyrie, which really means Vendetta because nobody would ever be crazy enough to use the kit as a Valkyrie.

My take on a Valkyrie based Stormraven/Stormeagle.



If you're want to use the valkyrie as a base for a stormraven you need to switch it up a bit to get the right proportions, weapons and access points.
