Ok so I've just made as list that I think is fairly well-balanced. It has a strong back field but also has some linebreaker/ midfield objective holders.

My Plan is to blob the guardsmen squad together with Azrael for the 4++ and FnP on objective (due to warlord trait) The collosus and whirlwinds barrage from behind the aegis line or a buildong that blocks sight. Azrael mans the quadgun. meanwhile, the marines deepstrike down either taking objectives, hunting heavy vehicles that the devastator squad missed or just shooting down other troop choices. creed will allow the banewolf to outflank and hopefully this will take care of those dark reapers, noise marines or other backfield squads the opponent has.

Sounds good to me! It looks pretty strong to me.

why Azrael, PFG and Aegis? Your save is redundant.
If you are just taking it for AA, take a flyer or something else (Mortis dreadnought would be perfect

You have Libby to protect vehicles, Azrael for infantry and marines are in drop pods. So aegis really looks just like a base for a single quad gun.

The warlord trait gives FNP to the warlord and any codex Dark Angel unit he joins.
