Hi Dakka, I'm going to be running a fast wreck face list like this:

JuggerLord with 5 Spawn
Helldrake
Maulerfiends x3
Rhino w/ 10 CSM
Rhino w/ 9 berzerkers
Cultists x10 (x2)

For my final unit I am planning on a Nurgle biker unit like this for a total of 9 models:

Nurgle Lord w/ bike, MoN, SoC, PF
8x Chaos bikers: MoN, MG x2, LC (champ)

I'm curious if anyone has had experience with this kind of bike unit before? Is it effective? Do I have too many bikes? The loadout seem ok for what I want to do (charge for turn 2 assault)?

I have been running 5 bikers and a lord with a very similar loadout.

Lord: MoN, blight grenades, lightning claws, SoC, Melta bombs
5 bikers: MoN MG X2, PF (champ)

I feel like the LC's are better on the lord so you can take advantage of his higher initiative. Blight grenades are a must because they will give bonuses to the whole unit.

Blight grenades will give stealth against any shooting within 8 inches so if you turbo-boost right up next to your opponent on turn one then you will end up with a 3+ cover save.

Oooo, great advice on the blight grenades! I would never have thought that and I like the idea of of extra insurance for my jink rolls.

I run mine like this.

Biker lord - bike, PF, BBoS, Mon, SoC, blight - 185

Biker squad x8 - plasma x2, PF - 225

I find additional bikers are more survivable than nurgle bikers.
