Gregor Adrian is working on the Dark Paladin for me and I'll be showing the process of the sculpt in various stages!

Roughs: Shows how the sculptor makes a rough outline and the beginning of sculpting the miniature.

Roughs complete;

Detailing of the right leg;

I like that leg armor. But not sure that showing 'roughs' is really accomplishing anything. I mean there is essentially nothing to look at.

That sure is a nice armature he's working on top of!

Is there a concept sketch or something to help give us an idea what the final piece will look like?

Based on the bulk of that current leg at least he should be quite imposing once he's done.

Will look forward to seeing more!

Poorly lit photos of my ever- growing collection of completely unrelated models!

It's meant so people get the idea what it takes to create a mini. So from basic bulking out the rough shape to the detailed finish. There'll be many more pics!

I don't dare show the concept as it's mostly stick figures crappy drawing, and some written guide. I tend to give the sculptor lots of freedom!

Looks good so far! Will this be 28mm true or heroic scale? Or neither?

Whilst the updates are cool to see , I don't really think this is news/rumour as such.

So I'll move this to the blog section, please do start a N & R post as/when this is done and up for order.

The poor man really has a stake in the country. The rich man hasn't; he can go away to New Guinea in a yacht. The poor have sometimes objected to being governed badly; the rich have always objected to being governed at all
We love our superheroes because they refuse to give up on us. We can analyze them out of existence, kill them, ban them, mock them, and still they return, patiently reminding us of who we are and what we wish we could be.
