Now I know I have a few questionable choices but I have my reasons behind them. The Flayed Ones are mainly just for a small little crew of lackys for Oby to deep strike in with. The monolith is to counter those pesky tau and take out those annoying crisis suits. Alright now on with actual tactics. Zandy is my preferred hq choice because of his great versatility. The lancetek is for the pulse to protect my army till I can get in range and the scarabs in charge distance. The veiltek is for the deathmarks to give them the needed mobility and the ability to melt deathstars and hqs alike. Warriors inside NS drop ontop of objectives t4. The NS are for dealing with alot of things you see in todays meta. Footslogging warriors harbor my lancetek and zandy and can bring down tanks with tank hunters and twin linked from the stalker. The stalker like I just said is for twin linking any priotity targets that need to be brought downquickly. Scarabs are for tarpitting and AT with things like furious charge or tank hunters from zandy. The Monolith is for dealing with hordes light/medium tanks and bringing in the deathmarks or flayed ones if there are no safe areas for deep striking. The Anni Barges are for dealing with most threats you see in todays meta that NS aren't enough for

The flayed ones are dirt that do next to nothing. Theyre stopping obyron from using cleaving counterblow (as he's not running solo) lowering his average toughness and already have deepstrike so you're not even getting to use his veil in an interesting manner. As youre already running scarabs hows about putting him in a unit with 3 spyders, spawning bonus scarabs turn 1 then teleporting in as aggressively as you dare?
Also not a massive fan of getting 150 pt stalker just to twinlink a few warriors and a monolith. They generally work better in shootier, less twinlinked already (barges/NS) lists. Im a big fan of the general concept tho. I totally love the mobility of 2 veils and a mono portal.

Agree with a lot of what Tumbleweed said.
The stalker is one of the only AV13 walkers in the game so it's quite good at taking charges (providing it is still mobile).
I think the obryon spyder concept is awesome. I think they can also step out of the monolith to place a awesome (probably the best the necrons can muster)combat unit right near the bit or armour your opponenet will be getting close to to melta/chainfist. I would probably run them with the particle weapons to allow you to do some damage everything you deep strike them. If you DS out of combat and shoot into it you'll find the enemy quite clustered and out of charge range the following turn so you may even get to charge with the spyders!

Oby just is not worth it, currently. Particularly not worth it surrounded by flayed ones. Though the idea of DS spyders does sound fun.. they can at the min allow you to keep spawning when traditionally they would be out of their reach by T2.
Tumble has some good thoughts on this one. There isn't much synergy in what you have currently. I use stalkers when I'm TL large amounts of VoF or when I'm trying to make heavy destroyers a wrecking ball.

+1 to the Spyders suggestion! Good to see a list that isn't just wraiths and scythes.

Ok thanks for the feedback what would you suggest I change to improve the list? I'm willing to change just about anything in the list so go nuts

Swap the Mono and Flayed Ones for 3 spyders. With leftover points add heavy destroyers?

I'm willing to let the flayed ones go but I am pretty set on taking the monolith. I find more and more lists taking less AT in my meta and with all the tau swarming around I want a solid response to these types of armies. Also I only have 2 spyders and one heavy destroyer although I do have the HGC from the stalker that I could convert up some of my vanilla destroyers into heavies
After reading the feedback I'm thinking of swapping the flayed ones for just a solo heavy destroyer since I only have one. I like the idea of the spyders but I have nothing that would ne optimal to swap for. The A barges I need for AA and for light AT. I am feeling like the stalker should be swapped but I don't know what to swap him for. Same goes with oby since they both don't synergize much with this list.

What about looking to add some more crypteks to beef up the hitting power of the warrior squads then.
If you swap Oby and Stalker, you should have enough points for another Overlord, and that would let you attach 2 RC members. So you could have a warrior group in scythe with a pair of Stormteks, and another group with a pair of Despairteks (even add another despairtek to the Deathmarks?)

Ok I did the math and if I dropped the flayed ones the stalker and oby I could grab another olord with scythe and MSS, 2 stormteks and a despairtek, and 3 heavy destroyers. Sound Good?

Works for me. See how it looks once you've adjusted the list. Just need to decide where to put them - depends how agressive you want to be.
I just read on Dakka a suggestion to have a veiltek and two stormteks stooging around. Thoughts?
