Personally I am looking to integrate some wrathlords into my mech army.

I like the damage output and the durability.

Now I know War Walkers and Dragons are much better AT but I was looking at what might be able to give them this role in my army.

2 Lances, 2 Flamers, and a ghost glaive seems a bit odd but that was my first thought. 165 points is a steep investment though. Especially since I want 2.

How would you kit an AT Wraithlord?

I think thats your best AT loadout. Just gotta suck it up and pay the piper, lol.

I keep mine versatile.

Ghostglaive
2 Flamers
Scatter Laser
Bright Lance

It's either X points for 1 extra anti-tank shot OR
X points for 4 S6 shots + twin-linking your anti-tank shot.

I have 6 WLs and the set ups I use are;
3 WLs w/ SL/SC, 2x flamer, Glaive
3 WLs w/ BL/BL, 2x flamer

They work nicely. Two of them are magnetized though and I have really been liking that so I recommend doing that.

You would recommend the dual lance over SL/BL then for AT?

I like 2 chances to pen over one, personally. Twin-linking one shot is nice, but I just feel having two potential pens is nice.

Double BL is better against all vehicles bigger that AV 10. If you are fighting DE or Orks then SL/BL is maybe better (though double SL is probably better in that instance) The SL basically ensures your BL gets one hit but can only glance AV 12 and only will do s 16% of hits. Two BL have exactly the same chance of hitting once as a twin linked one with a 33% chance of hitting with two.

If your WLs are planned to be pure AT then BL x2 is the way to go

I say double lances too. The value of the scatter laser reroll greatly diminishes when you consider Prescience, Guide and Spirit Marks.

^ That.

You can Guide a 2xBL Wraithlord, and get 2 hits.
Using a SL to get twin-link is a waste of a weapon slot, if you have a Farseer to do it for you.

I like the scatter laser and star cannon load out. In a wraith heavy list it offers some alright anti infantry fire. Plus it seems to be not so bad at handling lighter armour like AV10 transports.

If you need ranged anti-tank, double Bright Lance all the way. You have flamers for Hordes and you are decent in combat. You can have plenty of other things in your army to take care of other things.

With how prevalent Guide/prescience is, it should be no problem "guiding" 2 Wraithlords a turn. Bonus if you manage to get Doom!

I concur with the previous posters. This is eldar, you specialize each unit. I am using starcannons as I have mine specialized as a terminator killer. Need AV? Brightlances all the way.

I kitted them with BLs as above...do people think it suits the list?

I think so. Other than the Crimson Hunter, you don't have anything else that can pop heavy armor, so the Wraithlords should do it. What support weapon were you planning on giving the Guardian Defenders?
