Not sure if this is the right place to post but I was wondering, to all the SoB players out there, what is the best way to kit out a standard squad of sisters? Its for 600 point games so i'm looking at mainly low cost. Thanks for any help.

For your Battle Sisters, you put them in a box (rhino) and give them melta and flamers. That is your best survivability with them.

I get 10 Sisters, with a flamer and multi melta in a rhino. If you have points to spare a combi-flamer can go on the Superior.

You both have given them mixed roles, I.e. anti infantry and anti tank, may I ask why in the same squad?

Sister Squads aren't good for taking out a specific type of unit, for that there is Retributors and Dominion Squads. Giving them a mixed role just adds versatility to the squad

So you would go for a flamer and multi-melta? I would have thought a melta and heavy flamer would be more successful both being assault and a combi-melta if they come across a larger threat, what do you think to this?

Just realised that is a huge points sink

Combi melta means you get one shot at breaking a vehicle. Heavy flamer though more efficient than the standard flamer especially in overwatch, you asked for points value. Personally I would love to say multi-melta & heavy flame in a rolling box and have fun. But I cannot. In overwatch the heavy and normal flame do the same job just the heavy is just stronger. D3 auto hits, not all under the template. The upside to this is you could roll very well get 3 hits against an enemy character, if they lead the charge. At that points value you are playing at, keep your mandatory 10 model units low, to get more models on the table. Also I STRONGLY suggest Celestine, she is too good to not take in the new edition. Low cost jump leader with a heavy flamer power weapon and a chance to get back up EVERY turn.

Yeah as stated before, put one melta and one flamer sister on loan to the other team.

This has been useful for me as I tended to run 1 squad with melta/melta and 2 squads with flamer/flamer. Might start spreading my meltas about rather than having all my melta eggs in one basket.

It depends on the squad.

For BSS? I run Melta/Flamer generally or just a MM.
For Dominions? 5 with Double Flamer/Combi or 2xMelta. 10 with 2xMelta and 2xFlamer.

I currently don't run doms due to having loads of Seraphim and no spare normal infantry models. Gonna give them a blast at some point though as in my last game the 2nd Seraphim squad did little in my last game and I really needed more hard hitting units that could take out AV14.
