Hey, I'm posting this because I'm trying to find a place to play Table Top again, Warhammer and Warhammer 40k. I know of two stores relatively near me (The Game Parlor and The Hobby Place), but there is one actually in my town that is willing to host games if people are interested. Sadly I do not know of players in the Winchester, VA area to make use of the venue. So if there are other Games Workshop players in the vicinity please let me know, as this would be a more accessible venue for myself and them. But barring that I would like to make contact with people at the Hobby Place to try and make some gaming connections.

Also I searched for similar threads before I made this one, but the ones I found were all 3 years old

Huzzah Hobbies in Ashburn, VA, holds a 40k tournament every third Sunday. It's probably 45 minutes from Winchacha on a weekend.

I used to live there and went to Shenandoah U. When I was out there, we had a GREAT gaming store, but sadly it closed the same year I graduated =( But, that at least lets you know the people are out there...somewhere!

In theory, thanks for a response at least. I wish it were simply to find gamers, but we come from almost all walks of life....

Northern va. Arlington player. I'm always down to get a game and it is hard to find a dedicated group of gamers. Hit me up if your in the area we have a few shops that have terrain and if it works out can throw down at my house. If anyone else is listening let me know.

I posted this in a previous thread. We play out of the NOVA/Fairfax County area;

We are a group of three (3) that play on a regular basis, all in our 30s (some married with families), looking at the possibility of expanding our gaming group. We would enjoy playing with people who have similar 40k interests and similar to us in age

1) We are pretty casual and all fairly new to 40k. (1-2 years)
2) We all play with forgeworld. We don't like putting restrictions on what people can play with. Its all in good fun.
3) The majority of our games are 1.5k and over. We often play at the 2.5k level. (Depends on how much time we have on the weekend)
4) We do a lot of 1v1v1, 2v1, and 2v2 scenarios so that everyone can play.
5) Often we come up with custom scenarios that are not in the "book".
6) We are currently gearing up for some APOC fun. Tables have already been purchased!
6) We enjoy a good beer.

Current armies we are using;
A) CSM / CD
B) NECRON / NIDS
C) IG / GK

We are playing some APOC this weekend to try out the new book
