Greetings and Salutations!

I got started with Star Trek models and minis, and started some wargaming with Star Fleet Battles.
Eventually i got to WH40K and as luck/fate/the force would have it, there was a GW store near where i worked. Space Marines reminded me of Darth Vader and Stormtroopers so i started there and grew to love'em! Branched into Imperial Guard and Battlefleet Gothic.
All the above have a common flavour: inspired by Stargate i used the Tomb Kings as reference and populated a whole Sector as Nehekhara 40K

Gotta get pics of my scratch-built Ra'Millies Space Fort...

Started Tomb Kings, Lizardmen and a Slaaneshi Cult.

Hi,

Welcome to Dakka

Thanks for the warm welcome!

The Ra'Millies is in storage at my mom's house so it'll be a while before i can find it. If i can get my digital camera working i should be able to chronicle my new projects pending; proof-of-concept prototypes for 40K-scale Abattoir and a comparable seige engine for my Tomb Kings Legion (yes, I named my Space Marines the Tomb Kings, and they are a Legion, over 4,000 Chapters strong!). Also on the drawing-board is a Super Heavy Tank for my Marines that is basically a Land Raider, Baneblade and Monolith all rolled into one. Bigger than a Monolith but smaller than the Abattoir, aesthetically more Blackstone-like than Monolith.

Also for BFG i'm trying 2 redesigns for the Battle Barge; a coffin and a pyramid sized to match the standard 'Barge model's dimensions. To be followed up with Pyramidal Strike-class Cruisers. It makes sense to me that my 'Kings would take things even further than my Imperial Navy, which in addition to the 1 Ra'Millies has 2 Blackstones; all Cruisers and larger vessels have modified flying bridges as i added the top bit (apex) of the Blackstone to them. As much as i love my Navy, i yearn to have my 'Kings' fleet eclipse them by far.

Stray thought: In "Man of Steel" i think the Kryptonian ships and weapons look kinda Tau but their body armor looks Eldar. Your thoughts?
