They look great, can you also glue it together in the middle to make a V-shaped dozer blade that would fit on something like a Chimera?

Hm, that is actually a pretty good question. They of course can be glued together, but I am not sure it would fit lighter tanks. I'll measure them tomorrow (before and after gluing together) and post the dimentions here for you.

Hi, I've measured the Dozer Blades and each blade is roughly 1.5 inch wide. The gap between the arms that attach the blades to the tank hull is 2 inches (that's after glueing the blades together, of course).
Hope it helps!

Any chance of a separate center piece that could be used in concert with the dozer blades? IE a Siege Sheild

Would it be possible to get hatless ork heads?

EDIT: Also I checked your retail store section and noticed that finlands "battleaccesories" -link doesn't work. I found his twitter but latest tweet is from june so they might be down or something.

Every time I hear "in my opinion" or "just my opinion" makes me want to strangle a puppy. People use their opinions as a shield that other poeple can't critisize and that is bs.

If you can't defend or won't defend your opinion then that "opinion" is bs. Stop trying to tip-toe and defend what you believe in.

Hey, thanks for the heads up.
Also, AFAIK, the only hatless orc heads we produce are the ones that come with the Desert Raider.

So any plans for an accessory middle section for the dozer blades? If not I will mock my own up, but would love an official part to go with the blades ) Hint hint... nudge nudge..

They look very cool. Functionally, however... I'm going to be a geek for a moment.
These would break down regularly IRL. The only support for them is on the outside. As soon as you tried to push something really big and heavy against the inside edge of the dozer blade, it would bend or break, rendering it useless. I'd have far preferred to see some sort of secondary support for the inside of each blade, like a support that goes between the tank and the blade, rather than something that attaches to the side (which would interfere with the opening of the Assault Ramp.

Also... Can "Heavy Assault Tanks" in the most popular futuristic wargame even buy dozer blades as an upgrade? I have no codex handy, and I can't remember.

Unfortunately, we're not planning on expanding this kit in the nearest future. We are preparing lots of stuff to release for you guys and also some long promised models will finally see the daylight, so this little bit will have to wait.

Hi Eric,
TBH, I was curious myself as we have not tested their durability, though they seemed pretty solid.
So, I decided to put one together (glued with superglue, no pins). I grabbed it by the blade and applied pressure on kitchen scales with the part that gets attached to a tank. It withstood around 1,5-1,6kgs and snapped at around 1,7. I'm not sure if it is enough to satisfy you, but considerable force was needed to break it, so I'd say they can be used safely with the standard amount of caution.

Cheers,

Pawel

Basically the stuff that you've had the chance to see in the form of previews and that was talked about.
No dates or promisses, but these things are priority in terms of releases now.

I think he meant that dozer blades like those wouldn't work in real life. He didn't mean that the miniature looked fragile.

that was my impression too. what about adding a dozer blade that attatches to the top to the swing door on the land raider? or use that as the middle section?

Well, i certainly appreciate that test, but I'm not sure I made myself clear.

In a sort of Devil's Advocate manner, I was trying to say that a "real life" blade that looked like that and was attached to a "real life" tank would not be as secure as one with two arm supports.
There are "purists" out there who decry products like this that look like real life items but don't match up with real world physics or characteristics. I'm not one of them (LOL), but I suspect there are plenty who will look at this product and think like that.

Just a suggestion...any chance you can update the first post as new things come out? Going through 19 pages of posts to find your pictures and releases is just...not going to happen. You may miss out on many interested parties simply because everything is scattered about in the thread.

I will magnetize (now doing LED as well) your models for you, send me a DM!

Hey Lormax,
Thanks for the suggestion. We always try to update the first post within minutes/ an hour of the new release post. As you can see, the thread was started by Artur, so I cannot edit the title when I post the information, but Artur is always aware of me announcing new models, so I am sure he will edit the first post asap.
