For those of us who don't have the time to make everything out of foamboard, they are an absolute dream.
Let's hope that the shipping isn't too expensive, or that some distributors get hold of them to sell locally.

Exchange rates are killer this way around now. In USD, the 4x4 ground + buildings sets are $300 or so.
I think I'll just print more cardstock to apply to foam board.

I have printed out a load of maps from Google blown up and modelled on for a road system before.
Would love the HDF stuff , but its a bit expensive , so I use WWG plans and my own designs.

Absolutionis wrote:Oh God, the bag is $95 and not compatible with anything people already have.
Current Infinity players already have bags to hold their miniatures. Why release a $95 miniature alongside a bag that's incompatible with anything these players already own? It's much more convenient and cost-effective to stick with the standard 7.5"x13" tray of foam because many companies support it.
I guess it's okay for new players just getting into Infinity. They'll get an exclusive miniature. They'll get a bag to store all their miniatures in. On the downside, that storage bag holds tenfold what a new player needs and it's bulky for this game. On the other downside, the new player will be stuck buying Battlefoam trays for their bag if they want to expand.
Excellent deployment of the Dakka theme, 'What use is this in 40K?"

I don't have a bag for my INFINITY stuff yet.
I like the Battelfoam stuff I have right now, and I'm seriously considering picking up this bag as well.
As for being 'stuck' with Battlefoam trays?
Well, they are great quality, and well worth the price that to me isn't really that expensive, especially considering what they are protecting, and how well they protect it!

KR multicase makes a single tray "sleeve" type miniature case. It would probably hold twenty or so miniatures and fit easily inside a bookag. Perfect for infinity.

This is what they should have released months ago instead of the expensive resin walls.
Now, this is the product that will allow to make complex interior buildings.
Please, Micro Art, add some doors to it and it will be perfect.

They are probably going to make the update right now.

I do wish they'd just make a base that fits the Remotes, or make the Remotes fit the base.
I know you can 'force' the issue, but really, why not just have it 'right' right out of the box?
Anyway - another month of awesome miniatures!

Agree at 100% with this. That metal extensions are a bit annoying. A bigger plastic base or a full metal base would make it.

Well you'll notice that the legs are the same legs from Nomad remotes so they are using parts they already have developed. They really don't want to make a bigger base because right now everything is standardized to 28mm or 40mm with the exception of the Mag Guard. Making a bigger would have a detrimental effect from a gameplay standpoint on the units it is done for in combination with forcing terrain to have even bigger gaps for things to fit through. Having taken off the extensions on my remotes and fit the legs on the base I can tell you it changes the eight of the remote in a detrimental way and the legs look more natural with the wider profile, not to mention the fact that the legs can't be shot at if they are on the extensions.

Actually, I have to say I don't mind the extensions to the base, I think it gives it a quirky "difference" and somehow makes the miniature appear to stand out from it's surroundings.
Another bloody awesome month from Infinity.....I just don't get how they can carry on this onslaught of excellence!! You can count on one hand the amount of "not so great" miniatures in this line..

Weapon choice would definitely be a motivating factor in making me stop proxying so much (I have a starter and some blisters, but am subbing everything else until I know it's essential for my playstyle). I, and I'm guessing many others, would buy the figs for both the bodies and the spare guns.
Say, does anyone know of any way to get suitable bitz for converting unavailable weapon options etc.? Do any other companies make anything suitable?

Nothing really great this month. The Myrmidon officer is okay if you disregard the weird knife action and the PanOceana sniper is nice too, even if it suffer from the tryin-to-hard syndrome. I like the romote, though defiantly without the umbrella attachment and maybe a bit more action in the legs department..

"Weapon Packs" exist from Corvus Belli, however they are not released yet.
