You just have to get used to the gameplay...it can be pretty unforgiving, but you'll get used to it pretty quick. I honestly haven't played any other FPS online in months because I think BF3 has all the others beat (on console that is).

Yea Im getting the hang of it pretty quickly. But it certainly isnt forgiving on a new player at ALL! I got some games in with Kan and Chowder though, it was awesome, and I laughed to much. And lastly I blew up 2 tanks!

well done. Engineer or support? As those are the only two classes able to eliminat a tank effectivley. The nade launcher for assualt can disable one. I've done it.

It's the best feeling ever when you run up to a tank, plant a feth-load of C4 and blow it up...

Either that or taking one out with a suicide jeep

Lately me and my squad have been parachuting onto the top of the docks building at E in Kharg and setting up a mixed unit squad there.
It effectively becomes a perma cap, since you can cap the flag whilst on the roof. There are no ladders to get up there and unless the enemy makes a seriously concerted effort to get you off it, it can distract them and allow the rest of your team leeway to take other flags.

It provides great Soflam/sniper coverage, the very top walls of it cant be completely destroyed, so you'll always have a place to duck into and you can literally gut any squad that goes into the interior of the structure.

Support, I like the big ass guns It was pretty awesome popping those bastards, after being so useless against them until now. The first one, I was too close and blew myself to gak and back. The second one though was funny. I came up behind it, stuck 2 on there, and then ran INFRONT of the tank so they could all see me. Then KABLAMO!

Uhg, I got the 2nd support weapon, the er.......uhm.....it has an R in it I think And fething iron sights again.......Im about to switch back, iron sights suck hard. But I also played like ass tonight as well. le sigh

You get the assignments when you buy/download the Karkand Map Pack. I'd recommend you do it...There are 8 guns you can only unlock through the map pack...plus most of the expansion maps are pretty cool.

Anyone know any info on the new DLC coming out in June?

That's how i play the game...

Been trying to get unlocks for the P90 recently.
Its similar to the PDW but has a really nice 51 clip.
Great at close range but suffers in longer range firefights with accuracy.

Anyone unlocked the USAS + frag rounds yet? Seen vids and it looks completely broken.

I haven't unlocked it but I've been killed by it uncountable times... Yes. It is broken.

Getting a nerf though I think (hope).

Yea, most of the shotgun kills I take, are guys using that very setup. Ive been 1shot at distance, and obviously 1 shot up close. Its pretty ridiculous

Kill output? Are you playing TDM?

If so, I would advise just generally hiding out and creeping around until you get the drop on someone. Getting a kill is all about positioning yourself and spotting them before they spot you. Not that I'm some BF3 pro, but that's how I've got my kills.

I sold the game off. My cousins are really into Forza4 and racing games have always been my bread and butter. Hell I won a Need for Speed local tourny a few years ago. Anywho, I used the funds to order that game and will be showing mofos whos boss.

Two more golden little locations if you can get a mixed unit together.
The industrial chimney stack on Kharg (2nd platform up) and the Comms antenna on Caspian (whatever platform you like, although we found the second one up best).
Get a Soflam/ammo/Jav team up there and hilarity ensues.

3 new expansion packs announced for later this year.
A close quarters battle one, with much more destructable terrain (TVs, chairs, tables etc), a vehicle orientated one with lots of new vehicles and one at Xmas called End Game - no info on that to date.

I know, I'm pretty excited. Did you watch the trailer for the CQC pack yet?
