I haven't had much luck on google but I was wondering if anyone has ever seen or tried putting a helmet on the finecast Sammael model? I absolutely refuse to paint faces, namely because I'm terrible at it and I've had decent luck making visors from green stuff but I honestly prefer a helmet. I know if i had a jetbike, I would want a bit more protection then a collar and full head of hair.

First off, Welcome to dakka.

I would think that it would be easier to just do a head swap with something you think would look better. Seeing how FineCast is all squishy it should be really easy to cut away and glue on a new one.

Other than that you could try your hand and making a helmet from GS.

The head is pretty easy to detach. Put a beaky on top and your golden. Btw in the Ravenwing command squad sprue there is a nice beaky helmet with tiny wings on the sides that one should work like a charm!

That said, a Grey Knight helmet would really work well with his image and the model's look of an armoured knight.

First off I want to say thank you for the welcome and thank you for responding.

I definitely don't want to green stuff a whole helmet but from what you're saying, removing the head is easy.

I guess no one has any pictures of such a feat and I definitely can't find a decent picture of the sprues but thank you for the tips.
