Skulltaker - Juggernaut - 145 (cavalry +1T, +1A, +1W)
Karnak - 120 (beast)
Herald of Khorne - Juggernaut, Locus of wrath, lesser reward, grimoire - 165 (cavalry)

Flesh hounds x20 - 320 (beast)

So what do we get for this 750 point unit of carnage?

One unit of 49 wounds and hound bodyguard with 3+ invoul on a 3+.(grimoire)

Cavalry and beasts
12" move.
Fleet (reroll run and charge distances)
Cavalry has hammer of wrath.

Daemons of Khorne
- Unit gets Furious charge (+1S on the charge.)

Karnak
- Scout, for the entire unit. (Redeploy 12" or outflank in round 2)
- Karnak re-rolls to hit and to wound against a nominated character.
- Psykers within 12" of karnak gets perils on doubles.
- Rage to entire unit (+2 A on the charge.)

Skulltaker
- Adamantium will to the entire unit(+1 to deny the witch.)
- Skulltaker has eternal warrior and W:3

Herald of Khorne(with upgrades)
- Locus of wrath (Hatred to the entire unit)(reroll to hit in first round of combat)
- Grimoire (3+ hounds get 3+ invoul. 1-2 They get 6+ invoul)

They are all amazing, with rage, hatred, furious charge its all just... insane.

Say 15 dogs and the three musketeers survive before getting into CC for the first time. Skulltaker would have to do the challenge, and why not, he's the best for it. WS:9, S:6, I:9, A:7 on the charge, instant death on to wound rolls of 6. Yea.. and re-rolls to hit.. AP:3 though..

I still think this unit can take on some termies.

Then its karnak and the heralds turn on I:6 with 6 attacks each, S:6 on the charge, high WS, so usually hitting on 3+, with rerolls to hit. AP:2 and instant death on to wound rolls of 6 on the herald, "-" on karnak.

Then the hounds on I:4 with their A:60 on the charge with S:5, WS:5. Oh yea I almost forgot...... re-rolls.

Ok. And then your 750 point unit gets to eat 50 point guardsmen squads all game while I claim all of the objectives.

There is no such thing as a hobby without politics. "Leave politics at the door" is itself a political statement, an endorsement of the status quo and an attempt to silence dissenting voices.

You can only use the highest locus so you will only be able to use the hatered locus while that herald is alive.

Also cav ignore terrain but have to do DT checks, not so good on a 5plus invul. It may be 49 wounds until you face lots of s8 then its not so much, also grimoire can fail, even if you have fateweaver in there it can do.

I have run two squads of 18 hounds before, they died by turn 3 pretty much having killed two units they are not that hard to kill to be honest also what happens what a iron clad or Wraithknight or dreadknight charges into them? they go splat and get tied up for most of the game.

Why they go for your guardsmen?
And if they were to kill guardsmen, they would split in the movement fase and kill one squad each.

Damn, forgot about the loci.

Flesh hounds are a awesome unit imo.
