By means of trading and good deals, I've amassed a large collection of menoth stuff, but seeing as how it's not my primary army choice, I'd like to do some thinning out. By that I mean I need help determining what I don't really need to hold on to and what I do. Amon is definitely my favorite caster, as I like the idea of using fists and whatnot. I'm also a fan of Vilmon and paladins in the fluff, so I'll hold on to those too. Amon related stuff that works best with him is key. Kreoss and severius take second place, do things that work well with them I'd like to hang on to. I never plan to play a game larger than 50 pts.

So here's what I got....

Amon

Well, if his favorite caster is Amon, I wouldn't part with any of the Dervishes. Amon makes them into beasts and actually enjoys multiples of the things(though it makes it a bit of a skew list).

Well I have not been playing Menoth for long at all but once you get a list of what you are getting rid of I would love to see it. I might be able to buy some of them from you!

So here's what I got....

5x kreoss (yeahhhh) - yeeeaaaah, one is enough. Unless they're all different Kreoss', in which case keep one of each epic as well.

3x devout - If you like Amon, you might keep a couple of these, but might as well remove the 3rd.

8x revenger - 0.o Eight revengers? Whoo boy. Ah, probably get rid of all but 2 if you play large games, or all but 1 if you only play small games.
2x castigator - I'm never a fan of the castigator personally, so unless you really like to use two, one is probably enough.

2x max choir
2x min choir - That's 16 choir members.... Even the most skewed of Amon lists doesn't usually need that many. Probably sell off your two Min choirs or at least one max? Unless you're playing Unbound lists all the time.

2x max cinerators - 4 heavy infantry units. I'd say you could probably drop one unit of Cinerators.

4x knights exemplar - Do you play the eKreoss theme force really often? If so, I could see keeping these guys, but otherwise maybe cut it down to two units?
Max holy zealot
Min holy zealot
3x monolith bearers - two units of Zealots, 3 monolith bearers... Drop one, and if you don't play large multi-caster games, probably drop two as they are F/A 1.

3x knights seneschals - The third here could probably be pruned.

3x wracks (9 models) - You could probably get rid of one set of these happily.

Yeah, those are the most obvious and easy to trim things. More things could definitely be trimmed depending on which lists you like to play - if you essentially never use a double of a unit, probably sell it off, no use keeping things if they never see table time. I'd keep at least one of everything though, just for variety.

Great ideas madder. Think ill follow this a bit. I'm going to hold on to 3x knights exemplars though, I kind of want to try spamming infantry for once, and while their swords are goofy short, I like their style.

But yeah, great tips on the rest. Thanks!

Also themostwise, a local guy wants to trade some stuff for em, and right now I'm looking for trades over cash ATM.

Or with some conversion work, make them Fred Kreoss, Wilma Kreoss, Barney Kreoss and Betty Kreoss.

Um, good sir, I do believe the proper name is the Mighty Menoth Power Rangers. It's got the alliteration going, and everyone loves that. Except for war criminals.
