I've always been a PC gamer do have an xbox too, but even though it's old, without doubt has to be Counter Strike Source

Borderlands 2, I daresay.
Fun, funny, and I can play with my lady. (PS3 splitscreen until we get another TV)

The fact that they keep giving us new things to do has kept us playing it together longer than any non-MMO video game yet.

In fact, we are starting now.

Probably The Last of Us. Superb main story campaign with a great amount of replay value, alongside a very gritty and often nerve wracking multiplayer especially with a group of friends on survivor mode. Gotta love shiving unexpecting players after lobbing the dread smoke bomb...

My absolute favorite videogame has to be either Motorstorm or Dust 514. It's sad because I don't actually own a PS3.

My favorite game that I've actually played is the first Borderlands. Still haven't beaten it, got up to the last turn back point before the final boss then tore off to do the DLC, stalled out, and am now playing through again on a different class while recording it for the Youtubes. Got it and all the DLC for like $10 on a steam weekend sale right before Borderlands 2 came out. Some of the best money/time I've ever invested.

Never even played multiplayer and it's still an amazing game.

I dunno.
May very well be Skyrim, considering I'm still playing it since it has been released...

For it's XCOM: Enemy Unknown. This game is being addicting, I'm loving the challenge of this game. I started playing in Classic right away, already failed a first run but I learnt valuable lessons!

For me its the combination of actually stringing together combos and defense, having to use TACTICS on the fly and figuring out whats best to kill what.

Aye. I'm new at it and stuck in the "have no views so I get no views" segment of an incredibly saturated market, but I figured if I didn't do something like that then I'd never actually play videogames since I'd be too busy watching other people's LPs. Plus I just kind of like blathering on about nothing in particular. My Youtube channel is JoemamaUSA if anyone's interested. I have the two main series going right now, a random special, and some forever to remain unfinished stuff because my computer's hard drive died a while back and I don't want to replay the game and get footage again.

When I'm actually allowed to use Youtube, and my bandwidth isn't being measured out with an eyedropper, I put one video up a day pretty regularly. At the moment I'm alternating between borderlands (only a couple of episodes of that up at the moment) and the original X-COM (which I am playing pretty much blind). Might be interesting to see at least one or two episodes in case you're curious about how the first game ran. I recommend the intro video (I am quite proud of it considering I was using Windows Movie Maker ) and the first terror mission (which remains to date the only time I have actually got mad at the game while recording videos. I'm normally a pretty chill guy but that mission just pushed me over the top for some reason).

Spending 6 weeks in the great PRC, halfway done! You can bet I'll do some kind of "yay I'm home!" event. Probably involving alcohol. I always enjoy watching people play games drunk.

Ok, enough thread hijacking. Sorry OP, but as much as I love all my imaginary viewers, getting some real ones never hurt either.

P.S. Bugger it, I just went back and looked at the terror mission video on my computer again. The first 5 odd minutes is really too quiet with my voice. That's what I get for using the mic array built into my laptop instead of a real microphone that actually stays in the same place when you adjust your laptop screen. I would advise just skipping until the battle starts. You don't miss anything and that's about when I readjust my laptop.

Next item on my wishlist is an actual good quality USB mic.

The Last of Us. The game deserves all the praise it gets, it's an amazing game. A masterpiece.

Personally suspect I'm gonna be playing a lot of Dynasty Warriors 8 over the next two to three weeks

A few people have recommended The Last Of US. Can you play co op with friends online like the L4D series? That would be amazing and how many people can you play with at one time?

I have been addicted to HAWX 2 recently, and skyrim, but it has to be driver San Francisco.

I'm a borderlands 2 fan personally and I'm just hooked onto it with all the new DLC's coming out

I might be insane, but I've been playing NBA Jam: On Fire Edition a lot for the past few weeks.

Guild Wars 2 made my graphics card explode and then I had another kid so I haven't been motivated to replace it.

I like NBA jam when I was a kid and I've been having a lot of fun with it again... which is weird because I don't really follow basketball.

Right now it's Wargame: AirLand Battle.

My Marine/Navy task force is letting me down, so I've gone over to the Army/Air Force dark side.

Right now I'm playing nothing but Skyrim.

Animal Crossing: New Leaf. It's just so addicting.

Back to topic: For me it's XCOM: Enemy Unknown. It was an uphill struggle, with lots of frustrating moments vs aliens, but man, oh man, right now all my soldiers have power armor and are equipped with the best weapons, I am now teaching the aliens the meaning of pain and enjoying every moment <3

I'm quite enjoying Fallout 3 at the moment.

Currently it's Rift. It's refreshing for an mmo. I'm playing as a warlock/archon and throwing DOTS like a fool.

At the moment? MechWarrior Online.

Really enjoying the new MotoGP game at the moment.. not quite the simulation I was hoping it would be (other riders never crash, getting away with going over grass fully cranked over at 100mph) but it's definitely a big step up on the last game.
