I want to paint some CSM to ally with my traitor regiment of Catachan Jungle Fighters, so of course I want them to have a jungle theme. The thing is, although this would be easy to pull of with loyalists, how do I do it with CSM?

I'm going to decorate them with leaves, cleavers, and alien skulls, so that should help a bit, but how do I get that real jungle color feel?

Just paint them camo? In this case, should I paint the spikey armor rims silver or leave them green? If you had to do this, how would you go about it?

Tribal marking might do the trick. Even if they don't look jungly, they would fit the jungle theme quite well.

I'd go with something akin to an iyanden scheme. Like a night camo, or perhaps black and dark green. Something that looks like leafy shadows. I'd also do helmetless heads with face-painted camo on them. Odds are you already have some spare catachan heads lying around that could easily be put towards this end.

Or, you know, just make them look like alpha legion with some more foliage.
