@Jah-Joshua...

Sorry for taking so long to reply! Glad you liked the interview, it was a really nervous wait to get it all, but worth it! Have you invested in one then?

Blast from the Past was written by a guy who goes by the name of Sublime Brushwork on most places, but his real name is Stuart Thomas. The idea is that he'll write a few of those articles, but we'd like anyone who's revamped an older model to get involved and send it in for us.

Any volunteers?

Finally, thanks to anyone who's downloaded the magazine so far, and thanks in advance to anyone who downloads it in future!

Just downloaded #33 (my first issue) and still looking through it. Quite interesting so far - as a bit of feedback, I'd really appreciate it if the models in various articles could have a caption simply telling us what they are/company and even sculptor if possible.

In Christian Hardy's interview, for example - I'm not familiar with him, but from the article I see he is both a sculptor and painter, and the article talks about both his sculpts and his paint on others' models, but with no information on most of what we are looking at (obviously the Skink explains itself, but it's the exception!)

Welp, back to reading through the mag.

Also - bylines! The Nurgle freehand has one, but not Blast From the Past?

@Azazelx

Thanks for the feedback. There're probably going to be teething problems for the first few issues, so any small changes like the ones you have suggested really help. There have also been a few things that didn't quite happen time wise, so hopefully the quality will continue to improve from there. I am learning as we go, so whilst it's quite fun/stressful, I really just want people to enjoy the magazine as much as possible really!

Thinking back, I used to be the same with WD. I wanted to know which EM painter had done the job alongside the sculptor, but that never happened.

@SilverMK2- hope it was a good lunch time read!

This next month's issue is shaping up now, trying to get it all in place. We are moving the magazine till later in the month though to have an end of month release date now for a few different reasons. Our Blast from the Past is hopefully featuring some very old school GW stuff, in fact the very thing that got me into the hobby. It all comes down to some eBay auctions though...

Please let us know if there's anything you want in particular to feature in the magazine, we've got ideas but things can be added (the Nurgle freehand was an example of that, just something I spotted online and thought 'That looks pretty clever' so I asked on facebook and we got a nice tutorial out of it. I'm more than happy to randomly contact people out of the blue to see what happens

Cheers!
